Vivid Front’s Exciting Growth Can Lead to Some Challenges

Andrew Spott knew the DEC was the right place to open their first office after spending time at Jellys, and getting to know more about the DEC through Sandy Blanquera. Spott’s company, Vivid Front, is an innovator in the web, digital marketing and branding arena. Spott recently opened a new office in Cleveland in addition to their office at the DEC.Vivid Front has taken steps towards growth by expanding services to their clients, including web, public relations and graphic design.

The biggest challenge for Vivid Front’s recent growth has been finding the right people to fill new positions at their growing company. Spott shared that they went though 300 portfolios and resumes before finding the right fit for a new graphic designer.

Finding the right candidates can be a challenge for any business, but Spott said they had success finding the right people through their personnel networks and referrals. “It’s not so hard to find people with the right skill set,” said Spott. “The challenge is finding someone who is the right fit for the company’s culture.”

Spott shared that it is important to stay grounded in the face of change. “Don’t lose sight of your roots,” he said. “And be thankful for the people and clients who helped support you and get to where you are today. I’m grateful for all the people at the DEC who have helped us along the way.”
