Dublin, Ohio’s logomyway, founded by Joe Daley, recently won a jointly contest sponsored by Entrepreneur Magazine and Kodak.
Logomyway is a website that makes it possible for businesses to connect globally to a strong and creative community of logo designers. It is sourcing and networking website that enables the creation of ‘contests’ for logo designs and makes it easy to find logos and skilled designers for any organization or business.
The goal of the Kodak contest was to expose and highlight innovative entrepreneurs who are able to help other small businesses. Logomyway met this criteria as Joe helps others be efficient and money conscious through his design, products and services.
In order to win the Kodak contest, Joe needed to qualify to be in the top 20 by getting as many votes as possible in a 30-day time period. Joe and supporters, including DEC tenants, shared info about the contest and votes were cast online.
Twenty judges made up the panel at Kodak and Entrepreneur magazine that held the responsibility of selecting the finalists. Out of 6,500 businesses, Logoway was received first place out of the finalist group; winnings included $25,000, a Kodak home office gift package and an article in the January 2011 Entrepreneur magazine.
